“Night Queen” (also known as Raat ki Rani or Queen of the Night) primarily refers to two distinct plants famous for their striking white, night-blooming flowers and intense fragrance:
1. Cestrum nocturnum (Night-Blooming Jasmine)
- Type: A fast-growing woody evergreen shrub.
- Flowers: Clusters of small, tubular greenish-white flowers.
- Fragrance: Releases a powerful, sweet, and intoxicating perfume that can be detected dozens of feet away, but strictly blooms at night.
- Care: Thrives in tropical climates with 5–6 hours of sunlight and well-draining soil. Note that the leaves and berries are toxic if ingested.
