Description
The Purple Chinese Hat (Karomia tettensis, formerly Holmskioldia tettensis) gets its unique name from its unusual two-toned blooms. It features a papery, rounded pinkish-mauve base (or calyx) that looks just like a tiny straw hat, with deep purple-blue tubular flowers emerging from the center.
